Next to the United States, Italy, Japan, and the United nations, Germany was one of the biggest "powerhouse countries" in WWII. Germany was responsible for the ill treating of Jews, and exploited racist ideas to many people in their country. The main person behind all this bigotry was Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler became Germany's dictator when the war started. He was an active leader in the Nazi movement, and expressed his horrible ideas in "exotic" ways. As well as fighting other countries along side the axis, Germany also mistreated all Jews and other religions in Europe. After the war was over, 6 million Jews had been murdered in cold blood. The Nazi movement ended when Hitler committed suicide, in fear of being caught. In conclusion, Germany's role in WWII was terrible in many ways, and would change the way religion was perceived for years to come.
